| Due to the
major increase in attendance and the associated demands at the Convention, it has become increasingly difficult to both service convention
clientele and administer a traditional auction. As a result, this year we
are offering original art, comic books and
related collectibles on a “direct sale” basis at the show.
However, there are high profile items either due to their significance or by consignor request, that will be offered on a modified auction basis. There are no buyer's premium on these items. Zero commission to buyer! We will accept "bids" at the show both from clients live and via email in a private auction format. Clients Interested in an individual item (s) will be apprised of the current high bids as they arrive, via email. The highest offer received by Saturday 7-26-2008, at the assigned closing times listed below, will be declared the “winner”. To give everyone a fair opportunity, there will be a 3 minute rule in effect. Bidding will continue until 3 minutes pass with no bids on an item then the item is declared “sold”.

We encourage all bidders to bid early and take advantage of proxy or maximum bids. Should a service interruption occur during a sale, All-Star Auctions may at its sole discretion choose to: a) Honor the current high bid at scheduled closing time of item(s). b) Extend the closing (listing) time to allow all active participants an opportunity to place bids by contacting All-Star Auctions LLC. c) Reschedule the closing (listing) time for any item (s). d) Cancel or withdraw any item(s). Under no circumstance will All-Star Auctions be liable for any direct, indirect, special, punitive, or consequential damages that result in any way from either a consignor or bidder's use of or inability to use the service. |
